Minister of Music
David Vannoy is energized by praising the Lord through any style of music. Having grown up in a very musical family, he has always shared this passion in church. “Nothing gives me more joy and peace than worship for Him.” Through music, David draws our focus to Jesus and helps open our hearts and minds to worship and listen to God speak. As well as leading in worship, he facilitates opportunities for music through adult choir, children’s choirs, praise teams, and a praise band. He earned a Bachelor of Science/Music from Appalachian State University. David and his wife Shannon have two daughters, Erin and Rachel, and a son, Caleb. David is also our resident restaurant guide. He is a walking encyclopedia of where to eat, what they have…and how they fair on the Vannoy Rating Scale.
