VBS- Twist and Turns
11–15 June 2023
Visiting a new church can be pretty intimidating! We know because we’ve all been there. We’ve designed this page to help you prepare for your first visit to Bethlehem Baptist Church so you will know exactly what to expect.
On a typical Sunday morning at Bethlehem Baptist you’ll find many different kinds of people on different parts of their faith journey. Chances are, there will be many other newcomers just like you. Whether you’re new to church and faith, or a longtime Jesus-follower, we have a place for you.
In July 2015, our lives were impacted by the destruction of our church from a fire. However, over the past 8 years, our God has stood strong with us and truly brought beauty out of ashes. Not because we have a beautiful facility to serve our community (which we do) but because we continue to see God’s powerful impact on lives each and everyday.
And that’s the key to the ashes that cover our days in this life. The deeper Truth that shines through every bit of our grief, and pain, and sin, is this, Christ came to set us free. Christ came to redeem. Christ came to bring hope. Christ came to bring beauty from ashes.
If you are looking for a Church Near You, then we would love to have the chance to meet and share the wonderful love of Christ with you. Join us!
Don't worry about where you're at spiritually or even what you should wear. We just want you to join us as we passionately follow Christ together. Let us help make your first visit at Bethlehem great.
When you enter the church parking lot, you will find visitor parking on the left side. From here enter the church where you will find one of our team members waiting to greet you! If you find the visitor parking full, please proceed to the back and enter. You will also find a warm welcome from one of our many team members! At either spot, a welcome team member can answer questions and provide information.
We love kids! Stop by the Welcome Center where you will be directed and assisted with directions and someone can provide information. There are age appropriate classes/small groups for all ages. Your children will be met by a smiling face and enjoy a great time with others their age during small group time. During service, we encourage families to worship together. For our smallest of visitors we have a nursery or First Look for Toddlers.
Our attendees come in everything from shorts and flip flops to dresses and slacks – so come in whatever you’re comfortable wearing! We’re just excited for you to join us! We’re confident that you’ll fit in no matter how you dress.
We want you to feel welcome at Bethlehem Baptist Church. But we also want you remain anonymous as you need to as you check things out. You’ll never be asked to stand up, identify yourself, do the hokey-pokey, or anything else that might make you feel uncomfortable. We often do a time of greeting before our first song- but don’t worry- all you will be asked to do is smile and shake a hand!
As our guest, we do not expect any money from you. We will have an offering during the service, but we encourage you to let the plates pass you by. The offering is a way for the BBC family to respond to God and join the mission of the church through their giving. If you’re new, we don’t expect you to give. Our service is a gift to you.
If you do consider BBC your church home, we’d love for you to prayerfully consider regular giving. You can give by check or cash at weekend services or any time during the week when you’re on campus, or you can set up an online giving account here on our website our through your Church Center app.
