Kelly Rhoney officially became the secretary at Bethlehem Baptist Church in March of 2023. She is a retired former educator who served as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, and central office administrator over the course of her 32-year educational career. She has a Bachelor of Science in Education, a Masters in Public School Administration, and an Educational Specialist in Administration degree from Appalachian State University. She is married to Doug Rhoney, former principal at Alexander Central High School. She has two children, Bailey and Easton.

Kelly and her family are active members at East Taylorsville Baptist Church.
